ISTD Teacher Training 

​

As a Fellow and Examiner of the ISTD, alongside being part of the teaching team and former committee member, I am in the esteemed position to offer coaching for:

  • ​Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) in Modern Theatre and Tap

  • Licentiate coaching for Modern Theatre and Tap

  • Fellowship coaching for Tap

I run an ISTD Approved Dance Centre at Perfomer's College in Birmingham that offers tutoring in the evenings for practical classes and online tutoring for the written modules.  We currently offer Modern Theatre and Tap genres alongside Intermediate classes. 

In 2024 I was invited to be part of the faculty for the RTF Dance Mentors programme alongside ISTD examiners and syllabus creatives Lyn Richardson, Tereza Theodoulou and Alison Forrester.

Over the course of 5-days I worked alongside Alison in delivering the Licentiate and Fellowship coaching to a cohort of teachers looking to further their CPD and gain higher level teaching qualifications.
